Coach Michael played baseball growing up, but never really gave much thought to becoming a coach himself throughout his career.  After getting married and starting a family, his daughter started playing recreation ball.  At the end of that first season of summer ball, Michael was hooked on the sport again. With that newfound enthusiasm, he decided to take a shot at coaching.

 

After seeing the impact of teaching fundamentals and leading that team to a winning season, he found a new passion.  What Coach Michael loves most about coaching is seeing when his athlete’s confidence kicks in. He realized that once his athletes had an understanding of hitting mechanics, they started to excel and love the game even more.

Coach Michael currently coaches a 6U girls team and plans to make them a Select Team for 8U.  He enjoys working with kids of all ages and teaching them the correct way to hit. 

 

Since becoming CUDIT certified, he has not only developed 6U and 8U athletes’ hitting, but he’s improved their confidence at the plate.
